ENVIRONMENT POLICY

 

  1. Pack-Online Ltd is committed to a programme of continuous improvement towards eventually becoming a carbon-neutral organisation.

 

  1. In order to minimise carbon emissions, Pack-Online will

·       Maintain the policy of selling a minimum of 90% of products produced using recycled material

·       Ensure that UK suppliers and contractors are operating policies that maximise their environmental awareness

·       Offset all carbon emissions produced from the importation of products from overseas suppliers.

·       Use products within the company’s normal business activities which are directed to minimising carbon emissions including recycled stationery, non-fossil fuels, etc

·       Continuously review all activities including carriage of goods, minimising waste, recycling packaging materials, and set targets where possible to measure the companies progress towards carbon-neutral status.

 

  1. The company recognises the need to comply with all current and future legislation but will only regard such legislation as a minimum level of performance.

 

  1. Pack-Online Ltd will ensure that all members of staff will be educated and trained in environmental issues and the environmental effects of the company’s and their activities.

 

  1. The Managing Director will be personally responsible for ensuring that all efforts to achieve environmental targets are regularly monitored and that a full annual review is carried out and acted upon.

 

  1. This policy statement will be reviewed on an annual basis to reflect changing legislation, and the company’s performance and future targets. If the company’s operation changes significantly, this policy will be reviewed and updated as necessary.
